SCIL sponsored 2007's
successful SB 1806 “Animals in Unattended Vehicles, 2008's
AB 1634 "The California Healthy Pets Act", and was instrumental
in design and passage of Los Angeles' successful 2008 spay and
neuter ordinance. SCIL is currently working with
communities across the country on anti-puppy mill and spay and
neuter legislation and a CA Spay and Neuter license plate.
