100% of your donation goes to help pass spay and neuter legislation and anti-puppy mill legislation. SCIL has no paid employees and is run completely by volunteers.

We need your help. Opponents of SB 250, including underground animal breeders and the AKC, are pouring money and resources into California, trying to kill SB 250 and keep the status quo intact. These groups put profits first, pets second.

You don't have to donate $25... any amount at all will help us fight towards our goal to reduce shelter euthanasia through spay and neuter legislation.

SCIL sponsored 2007's successful SB 1806 “Animals in Unattended Vehicles, 2008's AB 1634 "The California Healthy Pets Act", and was instrumental in design and passage of Los Angeles' successful 2008 spay and neuter ordinance. SCIL is currently working with communities across the country on anti-puppy mill and spay and neuter legislation and a CA Spay and Neuter license plate.
